The reinvisioned event kicks off in downtown Brevard on Friday evening and runs through Saturday afternoon followed up with a NC Guitar Celebration at BMC.
White Squirrel Institute
Unfortunately, the White Squirrel Institute will not have a booth this year at White Squirrel Weekend. With the recent loss of Pisgah Pete, Brevard’s White Squirrel Ambassador, we made the difficult decision to not attend. We hope to return to this wonderful event in 2023 with Pisgah Pete’s, niece Pisgah Penny. We will let you know.
This is year the White Squirrel Festival has been reinvisioned with the main music event moving from the downtown stage to Brevard Music Center and is now called the NC Guitar Celebration. “The event is produced by Mountain Song Productions and hosted by WNC native and renowned guitarist Bryan Sutton who has curated an A-list line-up of guitar players and musicians for a concert celebration of the acoustic guitar. Tickets for the NC Guitar Celebration can be purchased at the Brevard Music Center Website.” This is not a free event.
The Heart of Brevard invites visitors to enjoy our downtown and and for this special weekend many businesses are offering curated promotions, brunch specials, music and artists demonstrations. Please pay them a visit.
For all you cycling enthusiasts Oskar Blues is hosting the 18th annual WNC Flyer Road race. Ride On!
We look forward to the weekend!
You dont show which performers/music are what times or where/venue for Saturday
